Jodi Pulice of JRT Realty Group – the nation’s largest certified woman-owned commercial real estate firm – participated in Rutgers University’s Success in Business Panel which offered students from Rutgers and Douglass (the women’s affiliate college) insight needed to successfully transition from college to a career. Panelists helped students learn about careers in various industries while offering resume critiques throughout the day. The conference culminated in a networking reception at which students had the chance to practice their newfound skills and connect with the speakers and staff.
Jodi Pulice was the only female business owner in commercial real estate when she launched JRT Realty back in 1996 and gained certification as a Minority/Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE). Her subsequent achievements have helped set a new standard for diversity in the sector by allowing a number of the industry’s major corporate and institutional entities achievetheir diversity goals.
The Success in Business Panel served as a resource to students interested in the world of business. It presented young women with the chance to learn about various types of job opportunities while addressing different types of roles within industries.
